Making homemade Valentine cards for friends is a great way to practice handwriting ❤️
It’s a chilly (for Hawaii) and rainy day, and half our family is sick. Apparently the weather and our bodies are sending us a message to slow down and rest today. So I’m curled up on the couch, happily tackling my little mountain of books. Recently, I have been leaning into reading memoirs from people with vastly different experiences than mine. I love how a book can transport me into someone else’s world, and forge new connection and compassion. My next book is Hillbilly Elegy, a story of white working-class America. If you have any good memoirs to recommend, please share! #imstillhere
Treasures from our garden: Japanese eggplant, basil, lemongrass, cherry tomatoes. Not bad for doing almost zero garden maintenance for months.
Happy FriYAY 🙌🏽 Leaping into the weekend with a sparkly tutu, superhero cape, and minion beanie. If this isn’t living your best life, I don’t know what is. 🌟
