This year the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books was held at USC, just a mile from where we live. Steve was away for the weekend, so I took Aaron. Geared with lots of snacks and sunscreen, it was a perfect day! It was 80 degrees and sunny, and the festival was full of booths, exhibits, activities, and performances. Aaron had a great time listening to the music, eating ice cream, doing crafts, and running around with a balloon. After several hours, we purchased a few books, and headed home.
If you are in the LA area, you need to experience this one.
