New Haircut

I got my hair cut today. The place I went to was very Los Angeles (in a good way). It was hip and modern, with an indie, artsy appeal. The girl who cut my hair gave great hair advice, and did a fantastic job.

My new hairstyle is low-maintenance, different from anything I’ve had before, and most importantly, out of reach of my little son’s grabby hands. I love it.

After (*Edit: Excuse the depressing expression that in no way reflects my feelings about the haircut. These photos were taken late at night, and I’m too lazy to retake them):

  1. Love the cut, especially the bangs! I'm feeling rather ambivalent about my hair these days as well. I'm still loving my color from a box (my hairdresser says the color is perfect for me, so for $6/box I'm sticking with it), but the cut…bangs may be in my future!

One question: where is your beautiful smile in these photos? πŸ™‚

  2. It is quite adorable!! I love the bangs on you!

I totally know what you mean about little grabby hands. I said bye-bye to pretty much any sort dangling earrings and my life just doesn't feel the same, haha.

  4. You look so cute!!! I admire you for making such a big change in hairstyles… I can't take risks like that because I worry that it'll turn out bad. That's probably why I have had this long hair for all my life…haha. I can't wait to see you in person very soon, hopefully with a smile too. πŸ™‚
